Out There

Out There is an acrylic painting done on a wall hang that I constructed with two wood slats and an old military tent. This piece is meant to evoke stillness as your eye is drawn to the sailboat at the center of the piece. I wanted to emulate the feeling of rest that comes with practicing silence and solitude. With the soft, earthy tones, Out There is a very grounding piece.
